Niels van der Linden (36 from Utrecht, the Netherlands) is a managing consultant for Capgemini Consulting with a background in Public Administration and State Law. His area of expertise is digital transformation in the public sector, and he is passionate about supporting public organisations develop and improve. He was responsible as a project manager for various international and national studies in the field of eGovernment and eSkills, commissioned by various DG’s, national, regional and local governments. He managed the project that established a first version of the pan-European Foundational ICT Body of Knowledge in 2014 (commissioned by DG GROW – formerly DG ENTER). He also leads the eGovernment Benchmark (since 2011, for DG CONNECT) and was involved in a study into the impacts of eInclusion projects in Europe.
