Klaus Behrla is Vice-President, Business Development for Europe, at the Linux Professional Institute (LPI). He has been with LPI since 2005 and has been instrumental as Managing Director of LPI Central Europe in the growth of LPI in the region. Klaus is also the Chairman of the German LPI association with a strong power and focus on community and exam development activities. Klaus has held management positions in the IT Training business since 1998. Klaus is also chairman at the working group “Skills in the ICT sector” at the German Institute for Standardization (DIN). He represents this working group at the CEN Project Committee on Professions for ICT (CEN/PC 428), which is working towards making the European e-Competence Framework (e-CF) a European standard.
